About the teacher
Mathieu Stewart is from Canada. He is a highly experienced, highly responsible, easy going, very well-rounded, and multi-talented individual with over 23 years of teaching experience in Korea.
For the past 16 years, I have focused my attention on teaching TOEFL to qualified students, and ESL to post-secondary level students. I have developed my skills to make learning both enjoyable and educational. I have plenty of extra resources to complement any curriculum. I am a popular teacher. Students graduate from my classes with a firm understanding of how the English language actually works, and knowing that they came out of it having learned something worthwhile.
My teaching methodology is straight forward. What I teach on day one, I review at the start of day two. I then move on to something more progressive. On day three, I review what we did on day two, and then move on, and so forth. There are no surprises in my classes. I progress smoothly towards concrete academic objectives, all while creating a comfortable environment for learning. My grading methods are fair, accurate, and transparent.
